Gonzalo Ceja painted under the name of Lojuèl during the early 1960's. The three painting below were displayed at the Inter Church Center Gallery in New York in 1964.
The pictures are painted on amate and are thus very fragile. In my collection there is also a metal crucifixion and a personal letter. All are signed 'Lojuèl.'
I am interested in any more information on Ceja and, in particular, these paintings.
